Description:
Temporary Collections Representative position - assisting their Project Coordinating department with collecting outstanding customer payments. This role will be temporary until they are caught up on invoicing. Projected to last 6-12 months.
Mon-Fri - 20-30 hours per week - flexible hours - anywhere from 8:00 am-4:30 pm
Whichever hours work best for the candidate within that time frame
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Coordinator in recovery tasks
- Outreach to customers to collect outstanding payments
- Customers might not be especially pleased over the phone - remaining calm, professional, and resolution-focused during calls
- Update customer files each time contact is made with customer
- Manage accounts in assigned portfolios through the collection timeline and employ sound and appropriate collection techniques to collect outstanding balances.
- Rationalizes payment plans with customers
